Pizza Friendly Pizza

Project : branding / operations
Role : designer / fabricator
Details : packaging, signage, interiors, marketing

This idea, born during a pandemic, set out to solve the problem of filling a now-empty restaurant with a comfort food that travels well and makes a big splash. Since it shares a space with The Empty Bottle music venue, the product and the aesthetic must play well with the “cat-ridden-hole-in-the-wall” vibe that they are known and loved for.

Enter, Pizza Friendly Pizza, a Sicilian-style slice shop for the ages with a walk-up window in the alley, complete with hanging planters and hand-painted murals. Just rough enough to echo the 27-year-old rock bar next door but with the best dang pizza you’ve ever had.
