Iโ€™m a Chicago-based graphic designer, specializing in branding, marketing, and collateral for small businesses.

Hey! Iโ€™m Treโ€™ (short for Teresa Reneeโ€™ and rhymes with โ€œyayโ€) and Iโ€™ve been working as a designer and creative director for over 10 years. My career has bridged the gap between my passion for the service industry and my experience as a Communication Designer. Iโ€™ve held many roles from Junior Designer to Creative Director and Server to GMโ€”which culminates in some of the friendliest dang branding you ever did see.

I dabble in many mediums and I love to create around the needs of a business. Currently, you can find me freelancing and taking on a wide variety of projects: brand and logo design, marketing campaigns, web design, and mural painting. My favorite projects require just the right mix of research, design, and scrappy know-how.

Iโ€™d love to chat about collaborating on your next project!

Services

  • From a simple logo to a complex brand, I can help to create a visual language to communicate your companyโ€™s vision to your customers. My process starts with diving into your companyโ€™s history and mission, researching local competitors and industry standards, and establishing brand attributes to measure the success of each design decision.

  • Collateral can be as simple as business cards and letterheads or invoicing templates. Other project scopes might include menus, product labels, coffee sleeves, custom stamps, tissue paper, die-cut packaging, and check presenters. Printed paper goods should carry your brand out into the world as a tool for marketing and exposure.

  • I create menus, wayfinding, and brand signage custom to the needs of your business. I have experience with many types of signage including developing menu signs that are easily updates by your own staff, utilizing standards in wayfinding for legibility at a distance, and creating large-scale banner and windscreens to bring a brand to life.

  • I design murals that are heavily branded or just for fun in many mediums. Wheat-paste and brick wrap laminate can be used in cases where the mural is temporary, while paint is used for more long-lasting applications.
