From Here On

Project : branding / collateral
Role : creative director, designer
Details : brand package, collateral, signage, website, mural

Spanning 20 acres, Chicago's Old Post Office Building is larger than some of the city's neighborhoods, and From Here On food hall is the cornerstone of the thriving community inside the building. Like any neighborhood, From Here On is a representation of its people and their craftsmanship and hard work.

Taking the scale and history into context, the branding for this project was inspired that magical moment when are heading to or from the loop and you drive through the Old Post Office Building. The feeling of a sun rising or setting, cuing the start or end of your day. Since From Here On is a food hall brand, it has to act as a container or backdrop to all the other brands that exist within the hall. The constraints of this project were many, including the historic, beautiful building it is housed in, so the result is a simple and clean geometric-based design.
